The New "Bird Flu".
The H7N9 - Influenza A virus is a subset of influenza virus that normally circulates between birds, which until recently had not been observed in humans.
However, during the first two weeks of April China reported more than 70 cases of human infection with this new influenza strain, and by mid- May about 130 cases and 30 deaths had been recorded, according to the newsletter published by the World Health Organization (WHO).
This virus was found in (domestic) birds in China, in some of the same areas where human infections have occurred. And since H7N9 does not usually spread among people, the hypothesis is that those who became ill were infected with the virus after coming into contact with sick birds!
However, there is little information on the extent of Influenza A and its source of exposure, which is disturbing because most of those who were infected became seriously ill. So far there is no definitive conclusion that H7N9 can be transmitted among humans, but the WHO and other health partners are actively investigating both virus transmission pathways: from animals to humans and from humans to humans.
It has been known for several years, since the "bird flu" - H5N1 virus, that birds play an important role as a source of food and livelihood in many affected countries. What is worse, is that unlike H5N1, the H7N9 virus is a very hard to detect due to its ability to spread silently, that is, without causing the death of the host birds.
Early symptoms of this new flu are high fever (which cannot be explained by any other infectious agent) and coughing. Many cases have progressed to very severe forms of the disease, including severe pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), septic shock, and multiple organ failure, which can progress to death.

13. Where do the microorganisms go after they are destroyed?
As all living organisms, microorganisms and their products are basically composed by carbon, oxigen and nitrogen. Since Airfree reachs nearly 414F, all the components are supposed to suffer a combustion process, which liberates carbone dioxide (the same product released by our respiration) and water. Some carbon (or ashes) may remain in the process. If there is some residual allergen left, we might consider that they suffer denaturation, a process involving lost of conformation and function. It should be noted that we are talking about reactions that occur in a microscopic level, so all these processes or by-products won’t be perceived. In this case, there is no need to worry about maintenance.
